According to the Hindustan Times, this would cause the show to shut down almost immediately as episodes are telecast a day after being filmed.
Meanwhile, the show continues to be marred with food fights and saw its first member eliminated.
Ajmal Kasab’s former lawyer Abbas Kazmi was evicted on “Bigg Boss 4”. In the episode which aired on Friday, four people were nominated for elimination — Kazmi, actor Sara Khan, Seema Parihar and model Hrishant Goswami.
Friday’s episode was mostly hosted by Salman Khan who cracked jokes with the contestants, calling actor Sameer Soni the de facto ‘chaudhry’ of the house (since everyone in the show looks up to him) and asking Veena Malik whether she had made up with Goswami, since he felt that she would have eventually led him to the gallows.
The episode featured more fights about food, as Bhojpuri actor Manoj Tiwari squabbled with house mates for eating from the same plate parathas were being served on.
Kazmi had previously argued with the house mates that the quantity of food being served was too little, but other contestants said he ate far more than anyone else since he was the first person to sit at the dining table at the last one to leave.
There is a limited amount of food available to the “Bigg Boss 4” contestants and they can only order food based on a points system.
The food ordering system did not go down well with Ali Saleem and Veena Malik, who said they couldn’t understand the names of several food items being ordered and felt no one was listening to them.
However Saleem is now in a position of power since he was voted the house captain and could not be nominated for elimination.
While talking to Salman Khan, Ali Saleem commented on the ‘Delights Room’ he has been given to sleep in. “Mai do aatma aik shareer mai rehta hoon to unko thodi zyada jagah chahiye hoti hai.” (I am two spirits in one body which needs more space)
